Tools for All Types of Marketing Strategies: Best Times to Post

Tools for All Types of Marketing Strategies is a series on my blog that I use to share new marketing tools I have discovered that can work for all types of marketing strategies.

A few years ago when I started managing the social media marketing for various clients, I was awarded most of the work simply because my clients did not have the time to figure out the many facets of social media marketing themselves.  Fast forward a few years, the number of social media marketing options have multiplied:  Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and on and on the list grows.

As marketing strategists, we have a lot of work to do to effectively and efficiently manage our clients’ marketing needs.  Within just the efficiencies of social media, we must determine the best time to publish updates based on when our clients’ target audiences are online and then work within a social media dashboard like Hootsuite to schedule the upcoming posts.

This week, I discovered Fannit.com’s below infographic that displays the best times during the day to publish updates within the various social media platforms.  I trust this will become a great tool for other marketers to reference in order to more efficiently manage your clients’ social media communities as well.

Brad Poel says:

Interesting infographic. Thanks for sharing. Definitely challenging to decide when to post through which platforms. You can hit a different audience at any given time of day through any given platform.

RodneyDBowen says:

Thanks, Brad. As you know and do so well in your own social media business, the ultimate goal is to hit your target audience with the message while they are online. So though we can and should use the info graphic as a reference point, the audience’s online behavior is the key to determine the best times to post on social media.
